Happy New Year 2016! Here is a clip of our roving duo band Polkadot + Moonbeam with some jazz ukulele and melodica outside Perth’s Laneway Lounge, recorded just before our performance back in July. P + M performs “Little Boat”, wishing you smooth sailing through 2016!
On June 20th and July 4th, the vocals, ukulele and bass jazz duo band Polkadot + Moonbeam perfomed at Perth’s Laneway Lounge. They also featured their roving ukulele and melodica lineup. Here are some photos from the show on July 4th, a big thanks to Jessica Wong for the shots! There will be another show on Wednesday 29th July.
On May 22nd, Polkadot + Moonbeam shot a series of videos at Perth’s Tartine Café. The magnificent colourful birds painted by Sydney-based artist Anya Brock provided a contrasting backdrop to the not-so-colourful bird in the song. A big thanks to propietor Niall Lawlor for having us at his wonderful cafe!
Jazushi is a Japanese fusion restaurant that is the only Sydney establishment that features jazz every night of the week. Midnight Sun was featured twice a month for seven months 14th Jan – 14th July 2011.

On 13 April, Midnight Sun lead singer Juliet Pang was the featured live performer at the 1st anniversary of Sydney’s Vie Media, and the launch of Vie Lite Magazine, held at a fête-themed event in World Square. Previously, Juliet’s debut album ‘Perfect Journey’ had been featured on the March edition of Vie Lite Magazine.
