On 8th June, four ALDI stores simultaneously opened their doors to Perth, expanding their Australian presence into Western Australia. Polkadot + Moonbeam performed as part of the festivities at the Belmont Forum ALDI store, briefly making an appearance on Channel 9 News who were covering the event. On June 20th and July 4th, the vocals, ukulele and bass jazz duo band Polkadot + Moonbeam perfomed at Perth’s Laneway Lounge. They also featured their roving ukulele and melodica lineup. Today Polkadot + Moonbeam together with Singapore’s favourite acapella group Micapella were featured at Mapletree Arts in the City, an initiative of the Singapore National Arts Council to bring Arts into the white-collar workplace, in this case, Mapletree Business City.
On May 6th, Polkadot + Moonbeam performed as part of the Tokyo leg of Yellowren Arts Festival 2014, which was held at the Design Festa Gallery in Harajuku. A big thanks to Yellowren for having us, and to Kanako-san for the photos!
