On 8th June, four ALDI stores simultaneously opened their doors to Perth, expanding their Australian presence into Western Australia. Polkadot + Moonbeam performed as part of the festivities at the Belmont Forum ALDI store, briefly making an appearance on Channel 9 News who were covering the event. Congratulations and Welcome ALDI to WA! A big thanks also to Champion Music for connecting us, and Julie and Stacie of Belmont Forums for having us, and for the great photos.

On June 3rd, Polkadot + Moonbeam played in acoustic unplugged mode at a private party, the birthday of Emily from The Happy Press. Thanks Emily and Rob for having us, and to Kristy Russell Photography for the great photos!

Today May 22nd, Polkadot + Moonbeam performed at the boutique wedding fair First Comes Love. Thank you Angela and Leah for having us, and also Peggy Saas for the great photos!

On June 20th and July 4th, the vocals, ukulele and bass jazz duo band Polkadot + Moonbeam perfomed at Perth’s Laneway Lounge. They also featured their roving ukulele and melodica lineup. Today Polkadot + Moonbeam together with Singapore’s favourite acapella group Micapella were featured at Mapletree Arts in the City, an initiative of the Singapore National Arts Council to bring Arts into the white-collar workplace, in this case, Mapletree Business City.

On May 6th, Polkadot + Moonbeam performed as part of the Tokyo leg of Yellowren Arts Festival 2014, which was held at the Design Festa Gallery in Harajuku. A big thanks to Yellowren for having us, and to Kanako-san for the photos!
