Today Singapore’s Lush 99.5 FM broadcasted more short interview and live performance segments with Juliet Pang and Didi Mudigdo, the core members of originals jazz band White Noise Quartet and Peachy Sounds events band Midnight Sun. These segments were in addition to the segment broadcasted earlier on 29th August. A big thanks to DJ Lavinia Tan for having us!

On October 1st & 2nd 2012, Polkadot + Moonbeam was featured at Esplanade Concourse on a show that was themed ‘Sunny Day – Songs We Grew Up With’. A big thanks to Esplanade Audio Production staff for the live recordings below, and Darryl Quee for the wonderful photos!

The Empire Hotel in Subang Jaya Malaysia featured Polkadot + Moonbeam five nights a week 15th March – 18th May 2012. They performed at four different venues: Shout Lounge, Kitchen Art Brasserie, Di Wei Chinese Restaurant and the adjoining Empire Gallery shopping mall (sample some live recordings below). Their performance at Shout Lounge was reviewed by Ah Bok of Taufulou. Thank you Ah Bok for the great photos!

Jazushi is a Japanese fusion restaurant that is the only Sydney establishment that features jazz every night of the week. Midnight Sun was featured twice a month for seven months 14th Jan – 14th July 2011.

89.7 Eastside FM, Sydney’s favourite jazz radio station, hosted a live interview by Sydney jazz impressario and radio personality Wally Wrightman with Didi Mudigdo. During the interview, Wrightman played tracks from the 2008 live album ‘Didi Three Live at Sapporo Jazz Festival‘ as well as Midnight Sun lead singer Juliet Pang‘s recording ‘Smile’ that is featured on the 2009 Japanese/Singaporean S2S audiophile collection ‘Absolute Voices‘ (featured below).
